How we started

“My fascination into wines started 6 years ago with my current job at the time, having a major influence. Born and raised in Wyebank, Kloof, I am the Founder and CEO of Duma Wines, a 100% black-owned and wholly-managed, Wine Company which was established in 2021. My journey originally began in 2017, when I pursued a course in South African Wine Education from WOSA (Wine Of South Africa). I then went on to complete a short University course “The Science Of Alcohol” from The Open University in 2019. And the rest, as they say, is history”.

We are highly passionate about what we do, and strive to produce unique and accessible wines with consistent quality. Our wines are of a premium quality aiming to indulge your palate with a refreshing quality that is long lasting. We strongly aim to inspire young individuals to become role players in the South African wine industry.

Craftmanship

We offer a range of beautifully selected premium wines, made from specially selected vines to produce high-quality premium products to indulge our Consumers. Produced in the Western Cape at a Vineyard nestled within the beautiful Overberg region, our wines have been carefully curated to satisfy all palates, from the very novice to the experienced wine lover.
